Watch, Look, Listen!

Several cool happenings and events for a few of our top chefs nationwide. Let’s start with date-closest, so not to miss out!

And, how fun does this sound? If you happen to be in the Atlantic City, N.J., area this weekend, on Sat., Sept. 9, at 1 p.m., Chef Geoffrey Zacharian is hosting a gin tasting event (small bites included) at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa’s Wolfgang Puck American Grille. Hurry though, as there are only a few tickets left!

Not outdone, Tom Colicchio, will be hosting the 10th Anniversary of his “Craft L.A.” restaurant Lots of this “Top Chef” head judge’s talented friends will be joining him. Check out the flyer on his Insta regarding the event:

Are you watching the new “Bobby and Damaris Show” on Food Network? Yep, that Bobby and that Damaris. Chef Bobby Flay and former Food Network Star winner, Chef Damaris Phillips, have partnered up for what has to be one fabulous series. Tune in Sundays at 12:30 p.m. for tasty offerings from this dynamic duo!

Have to acknowledge my wonderful sorority sis, Alice D’Antoni Phillips, of “Ally’s Kitchen Bohemian Bold” website, and her new digital magazine! Yes, now you can get all of Ally, who came in 2nd place in Food Network’s recent “Clash of the Grandma’s,” in one place…recipes, boho living, and more! For more info, go to:
Congrats, Ally, girl!

Oh, and did I also say ‘Listen,’ in the title of this post? Well, in that case, you have to check out Chef Richard Blais’s fun and informative podcast “Starving for Attention.” Why interesting and informative? Just listen to some of the titles from his past shows: “The Devil Wears an Apron with Gail Simmons,” “Du or Donut, There Is No Try with Wylie Dufresne, “Off the Court with Dale Talde,” “The Taste of Competition with Michael Voltaggio,” and my personal title favorite “Fermented Whale Anus and the Birth of Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern.” Looks like something for everybody with this podcast. Till next time, y’all!
